Nuclear Bomb by Peter Kuran

From 1945 to 1962, the U.S. military blew up hundreds of nuclear bombs. Photographers tried to capture the process of an atomic explosion and its devastating effects. 82-year-old George Yoshitaki is the only living photographer of the time. These photos are from the book “How to photograph an atomic bomb” by Peter Kuran.
